Teen Daughter Dating

I am a single parent of a 17 yr old daughter. We live in a 3 bedroom home. When my daughter has her boyfriend over, there is no place for them to have a little privacy but her bedroom. She leaves her door open, but they lay on her bed playing video games, is this wrong for me to have a boy in her room? I do not want her to get a reputation of being easy.

It sounds like your daughter is safe, and they have a great and appropriate friendship. Reputations are funny things. They may be based on information that is entirely false, and there isn't a whole lot you can do about that. The important thing is that your daughter doesn't participate in risky behavior, and she learns to have healthy relationships. It sounds like you have both well-covered. Well done!

No, she has the door open. you can pop in any time. It's not like they are spooning. Its uncomfortable I know but you have to trust her to a degree
