16 yr old daughter dating 25 yr old boy

How do I get through to my daughter that dating a boy that much older than her at her age is not a good thing. I just cannot seem to get through to her. She keeps telling me that I am only worried about my reputation. I tell her that I am worried about her reputation. This boy is a friend of her oldest brother and has been around our family for several years. He has adopted us as his family making this even harder to explain that it is not right for her at her age.

Please help, any advice you can give me would be great.
