Hi Sara,
I am a divorced mom of a beautiful girl. We live in a suburban area, where it looks like everyone is married and both me and my daughter are having problems fitting in. Couples look for other couples and that's where they find friends. I feel isolated and my daughter is having problems creating friendships. I also differentiate on financial level. While most of the moms are stay at home ones, I work two jobs and hardly have the same time and finances available.
I can't move, due to many complicated reasons. I feel ignored by the other moms. I am younger and single and it almost feels like they are trying to keep me away from their husbands. I am a decent person with good qualities and good morals and have always displayed nothing less than a respectful attitude. Help! I want to help my daughter to create a friendship circle. Thank you!
